Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong Science Museum|2025 The Future Science Prize Exhibition
Description
The Future Science Prize was established by the Future Science Awards Foundation in 2016. Initiated by a group of scientists and entrepreneurs, the prize aims to recognise scientists who have achieved outstanding scientific research results in the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, with the goal of inspiring China, the world and the next generation with the spirit of science. The Future Science Prize consists of three awards: the Life Science Prize, the Physical Science Prize, and the Mathematics and Computer Science Prize.
In 2025, the Future Science Prize celebrates its tenth anniversary. This exhibition is themed around "Past", "Present" and "Future". It introduces the Future Science Prize and highlights the outstanding contributions of Hong Kong laureates over the years. Through interactive exhibits, visitors can explore the underlying sciences behind three award-winning fields in the past: stem cells, superconductors and artificial intelligence. The exhibition also showcases the achievements of the laureates of this year and inspires the public to contemplate how science may shape the future.
